Presentation
Between the lake and the hills, in Cheyres, Sébastien Bise's sheep graze on the plains, at the mercy of the wind and the seasons. As far back as he can remember, the young man from Broyard has always had a real passion for farming, with a preference for sheep. Even though his father was not a farmer, Sébastien has always lived among the vines - a family heirloom - and surrounded by animals: first goats, later replaced by sheep. This love of the land and animals was to stay with him for the rest of his life. After initial training as an agricultural machinery mechanic, Sébastien embarked on an apprenticeship as a winegrower in Valais in 2005. As well as looking after a herd of sheep, the Bise family also cultivates 3 hectares of vines, the grapes from which are collected by the Vins de Cheyres cooperative.
