
The “Recognised Restaurant” label aims primarily to encourage restaurateurs to work with local products and producers in order to highlight their establishment to customers. The label is available to all member restaurants of GastroFribourg that meet the requirements of the charter and apply for certification.
Restaurateurs are excellent ambassadors of the local Terroir. The label also responds to the growing demand from consumers who wish to eat locally and are increasingly concerned with the traceability of what’s on their plate. Fribourg benefits from a rich Terroir and exceptional artisans—restaurants should take advantage of and value this wealth.
