Natural History Museum Freiburg: Natural sciences, regional fauna, geology, and paleontology in an interactive family-friendly environment.

The permanent exhibition at Fribourg's Natural History Museum is divided into ten themed rooms exploring the Earth sciences and local and global biodiversity. Remarkable exhibits, such as a naturalized whale, a complete sperm whale skeleton, Swiss and Fribourg meteorites and emblematic fossils, offer a unique insight into the evolution of life. The museum also offers workshops, guided tours and lectures to introduce the public, from schools to researchers, to the natural sciences. Its temporary exhibitions are dynamic, interactive and reflect the latest scientific advances.
