Romain Buffetrille is transforming the Musée d’Estavayer-le-Lac and its frogs with an exhibition where animals, myths, and fantastic figures meet between nature and the supernatural.
Like medieval bestiaries, the works of Romain Buffetrille blend the real and the wonderful in a universe populated by hybrid creatures and symbolic figures. Between ancient myths, the current world, and a post-collapse future, the exhibition explores our relationship with the living and unfolds an imagination at the boundary between nature and the supernatural, the visible and the invisible.
