Popular swimming with no time limit or style - that's how one can let off steam in the water.
For 12 hours, swimming enthusiasts and professional swimmers alike can use their energy as they wish on the Plage Communale in Estavayer-le-Lac. Anyone can come and swim, at any time during these 12 hours, the distance and in the style they want. There is no timekeeping. A souvenir medal is awarded for every metre swum: bronze from 1,000m, silver from 5,000m, gold from 10,000m.
