On the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, the Alphasurf water sports base is a must-visit destination for lovers of water activities and aquatic sports.
It is home to Switzerland’s only Cable Ski, enabling water skiing and wakeboarding on a cable system. Stand-up paddle, canoe, pedalo, sailing boat, banana or towable tube rentals complete the offer for gliding and exploring the lake’s clear waters.
Two sandy beaches, as well as a waterside bar and restaurant «with your feet in the water» (La Dérive), provide a relaxing and refreshing moment after the activities.

Access by car: follow Route de la Plage, then turn left onto Chemin de la Grande Gouille.
Access by public transport: train from Payerne or Yverdon-les-Bains, then walk down or take the P’tit Train d’Estavayer-le-Lac (stop “Nouvelle Plage”).
Access by boat: connections from Yverdon-les-Bains or Neuchâtel.
Parking: along Route de la Plage or on the Chemin de la Grande Gouille square (2 min walk).
Parking fee: CHF 1.50 / hour or CHF 10 / day.
Groups: water sports activities for groups. Barbecue option after activities at La Dérive (by reservation for groups of 15+).
