Framer
Following an apprenticeship as a carpenter-joiner, Anthony Guyot devoted himself to further four years of training as a gilder and framer in Lausanne. He then went on to perfect his skills in Bern with a gilder who had practised his craft in Paris. At the age of 24, he set up his own business under the name “L’Encadreur du Jorat” (The Jorat Framer).
