Jeweller
The years 1986 to 1990 saw Marc Pury complete a Federal Vocational Education and Training (VET) diploma in cabinetmaking followed by a jewellery apprenticeship in Colombia. He travelled and took on a variety of jobs here and there. In 2005 he moved into the O’Local workshop/gallery in Estavayer-le-Lac – a major step in his trajectory – where he creates and customises jewellery for a discerning clientele. He also repairs and transforms old jewels and brings them up-to-date. September 2021 saw the O'Local begin exhibiting a collective called CINQ, of which he is a member and for which he acts as visitor liaison.
