Jean Tinguely und Niki de Saint Phalle: Bewundern Sie ihre Werke im Dialog in spannenden und bereichernden Ausstellungen.
L'Espace is a magical place dedicated to the creativity of two emblematic figures of twentieth-century art. Erected in 1900, the building originally served as a depot for the Fribourg tramways, preserving a poetic memory that resonates with Jean Tinguely's work. Visitors will discover Tinguely's masterpiece *Retable de l'Abondance occidentale et du Mercantilisme totalitaire* (1989/90), as well as Niki de Saint Phalle's 22 reliefs *Remembering* (1997/98).
In addition to these permanent works, the Espace regularly features temporary exhibitions, presenting Swiss and international artists whose creations establish a rich and inspiring dialogue with the art of Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle.
