Mediation
A contemporary art center is like a laboratory for art and humanities. This is why the Kunsthalle Friart offers different formats of visits to allow everyone to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art. A cultural mediation is proposed especially for students. It allows a participative immersion in the current exhibitions and develops critical thinking.
A mediation program is available for classes in post-compulsory education and for Cycle 3 classes in the canton of Fribourg.
The people in charge of the mediation love challenges and are happy to adapt to your needs and particular requests according to your school and the training you are taking. Just ask us!

The bookshop, located in the Friart reception area, offers a selection of catalogs, artists' books and novels, monographs and theoretical works on contemporary art. In addition to a wide range of the most recent magazines and specialized books, we add new publications every month in connection with the Kunsthalle's exhibitions and the city's cultural news. Regularly, artists, curators, art spaces and institutions are invited to curate a section of the bookshop.
