Immerse yourself in the history of cycling at the Bicycle Museum in Fribourg, a place dedicated to the evolution and heroic moments of this iconic sport.
Opened in 2012, the Bicycle Museum, located in the former military barracks of La Poya in Fribourg, is a true showcase of cycling history. Founded by former riders of the Vélo-Club Fribourg, the museum traces the development of the bicycle from 1817 to the present day through bicycles, jerseys, magazines, and photographs of champions. It also highlights the hundred-year history of the Vélo-Club, which was founded in 1905.
