Experience a farm-to-fondue journey in one trip!
Discover cheese-making know-how with this new group activity, an immersion from farm to fondue. Follow each stage in the transformation of milk into cheese alongside local enthusiasts.
Stage 1: The Farm
The experience begins on one of the three family farms in Châtel-St-Denis (Liaudat, Genoud, or Perroud). Share in the daily life of the farmers, find out how the cows are milked, discover the secrets of the trade and taste some raw milk.
Stage 2: The cheese dairy
At the Prayoud cheese dairy, dressed as a cheesemaker, discover the cheese-making process, visit every nook and cranny of the dairy and end up in the famous maturing cellars. A generous cheese platter is offered to round off the visit.
Stage 3: The Restaurant
The adventure ends with a delicious fondue at Café Tivoli or Le Cercle d'Agriculture.
Ideal for families, groups of friends or colleagues, this group activity combines fun, discovery and local know-how, for a warm moment at the heart of the terroir.

- To ensure fairness between our generous suppliers, the Tourist Office is responsible for choosing the locations for each stage.
