Three markets are held throughout the year in Châtel-St-Denis and Les Paccots.
28 June: Summer market in Châtel-St-Denis
Châtel-St-Denis comes alive on 28 June with its summer market on the Place d'Armes and Grand-Rue. Discover the talents of 70 artisans exhibiting a variety of products ranging from glass and ceramics to woodwork and jewellery. Music and entertainment add to the festive atmosphere. Don't miss the delights of the local produce stalls and the specialities of the restaurateurs.
26 July: Midsummer market in Les Paccots
Join us at the Midsummer Market in Les Paccots, where local crafts and traditions meet near the ice rink. Admire the works of 70 craftspeople while enjoying a variety of entertainment. A bar is available to accompany the day. Take public transport to get to this festive event.
18 October: Bénichon market in Châtel-St-Denis
As part of the traditional Bénichon festival, a local produce market takes place on Saturday in the town centre (Place d'Arme & Grande Rue) of Châtel-St-Denis. You'll find no fewer than 100 stalls selling local produce, as well as food trucks and bars. There will also be a funfair.
