Concert by the Ensemble Les âmes réunies
— Music for the King’s Chamber —
We are delighted to invite you to a concert by the ensemble Les âmes réunies, featuring Thibaut Roussel (theorbo, lute), Gabrielle Rubio (theorbo, flute), and Mathilde Vialle (viola da gamba).
The programme includes works by Robert de Visée, Marin Marais, Pierre Danican Philidor, Hotteterre le Romain, Michel de La Barre, and François Couperin.
This will also be a special opportunity to hear Thibaut Roussel playing the 500th instrument crafted in the workshop of Maurice Ottiger, which he received last year. You may perhaps have seen and heard him in the programme Passe-moi les jumelles broadcast on Friday, 6 March 2026.
Together with Gabrielle Rubio and Mathilde Vialle, he will transport us into a timeless sound world of great refinement and deep emotion — a musical journey that promises to be truly magical.
