Under the name La Chimera, Eduardo Egüez will perform surrounded by his family in an exceptional concert spanning five centuries of music, from the Renaissance to contemporary Latin American composers.
Under the name La Chimera, renowned lutenist and guitarist Eduardo Egüez will perform with his family for a rare and eagerly awaited musical moment. He will be accompanied by his wife Sabina Colonna-Preti (violone and lirone), their daughters Carlotta Pupulin-Egüez (harp) and Margherita Pupulin-Egüez (violin), and Carolina Egüez (viola da gamba).
Spanning five centuries of music, the ensemble will take us on a journey through works by Diego Ortiz, Palestrina, Fontana, Trabaci, De Selma y Salaverde, Francisque Caroubel, Gaspar Sanz, as well as composers closer to home and from Latin America, including Eduardo Egüez, Ariel Ramírez, Peteco Carabajal, Eduardo Arolas, and Pedro Laurenz.
We are delighted to welcome them to Châtel-Saint-Denis, at the Protestant Temple of Gottau, on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 5 p.m.
Admission is free, with a collection for the artists at the exit.
