At dusk, the mountains reveal themselves and the sky lights up with a grandiose spectacle. Let the calm of nature wash over you and awaken all your senses.
Join us for a night under the stars: a night-time snowshoe hike with our passionate mountain guide, Alain Peter. He'll show you the region's nocturnal atmosphere and reveal the secrets of astronomy.
Programme for Friday 17 January 2025:
- 5.45pm: Meet at the Rosalys restaurant car park
- .00 pm: Start of the snowshoe hike
- Pause on the way to enjoy a delicious mulled wine or hot tea (approx. 20')
- 9.00 pm: Macaroni from the chalet served in the Rosalys restaurant
- 22:30: End of the evening
Theme: astronomy (if the sky is overcast, the walk will be around animal tracks)
Walking time: 2 hours
Difference in altitude: + 200m

Equipment required :
- Good walking shoes and snowshoes + poles (can be hired for an extra CHF 14.-)
- Rucksack
- Headlamp with charged batteries
- Warm clothing in several layers
- Hat
- Gloves or mittens
- Mackintosh and windbreaker
- If possible: ski mask in bag and gaiters
- Personal drinks and snacks

How to get there :
- Rosalys restaurant car park (please car pool to avoid overloading the restaurant car park)
- Rosalys car park, then about 5 minutes on foot

- The activity will take place with a minimum of 6 participants (below this number, the outing will be cancelled). Maximum 15 participants in total.
- In the event of a lack of snow, the outing will take place on foot on suitable paths (the corresponding itinerary will be forwarded if necessary).
- The event will take place whatever the weather conditions, unless the organiser decides to cancel for safety reasons due to bad weather.
- Dogs are not allowed
- Snowshoes are not provided by the Tourist Office (unless booked in advance at extra cost).
Included in the offer :
- Certified and experienced mountain leader
- Macaroni from the chalet to the restaurant
- Mulled wine or tea during the walk (1 per person)
Drinks are not included and must be paid for directly at the restaurant. And don't forget your snowshoes!
