New for 2026! Discover the Veveyse region by e-bike and follow a new gourmet route featuring three delicious stops along the way.
The Ride and taste makes its debut in 2026! For its first edition, enjoy a 10% introductory discount throughout September.
You’ll cycle along country roads and natural trails from Châtel-St-Denis to La Verrerie, passing through Mont Vuarat, Remaufens and Semsales. At each stop, a local speciality awaits, giving you the chance to enjoy the flavours of the region before getting back on your bike. This hilly route is perfect for taking in the surrounding scenery and enjoying the great outdoors.
The route takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes by e-bike in total (excluding breaks) and covers 34 km with 700 m of elevation gain.
The stops:
- Start in Châtel-St-Denis
Approx. 5–10 minutes by e-bike - Café Tivoli: small slice of Cuchaule with Bénichon mustard
Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes by e-bike - Buvette des Obasseires: ham, saucisson, vegetables and gratin (vegetarian option available on request)
Approx. 45 minutes by e-bike - Cercle d'Agriculture: homemade tart
For participants who have rented an e-bike: return the bike to Vélo E-Plaisir before walking to the Cercle d'Agriculture.

- From 1 September to 3 October 2026, Tuesday to Sunday.

You also have the option of renting an e-bike as part of this offer. The rental is booked through our Tourist Office by selecting the “E-bike rental” supplement. The bike can then be collected directly from our partner Vélo E-Plaisir.

The concept of gourmet e-bike experience:
- The package can be purchased from the Tourist Office.
- Booking is required at least 48 hours in advance.
- Drinks are not included in the package and must be paid for directly at the establishments.
- Table selection is not possible.

Meet between 9:45 and 10:15 am at Vélo E-Plaisir, Chemin de la Rocasse 5, 1618 Châtel-St-Denis.
Parking is available at PSS inférieur, approximately a 5-minute walk from the bike rental point.
Pick up your e-bike and the map for the gourmet cycling route. - With your own bike:
Meet between 10:00 and 10:30 am at the Châtel-St-Denis Tourist Office, Places d'Armes 15.
Parking is available at PSS inférieur or Péralla.

Return:
Participants who have rented an e-bike return their bike to Vélo E-Plaisir and then walk to the Cercle d'Agriculture for the final gourmet stop.
Allow approximately 10 minutes on foot between the bike return point and the Cercle d'Agriculture, followed by approximately 5 minutes on foot to reach your vehicle.
Participants with their own bike can finish their route directly at the Cercle d'Agriculture.
