Our mission

Terroir Fribourg's mission is to promote Fribourg's agricultural products, both raw and processed, within the canton and beyond. The association brings together more than 280 producers, processors, retailers and restaurateurs. Aimed at both professionals and consumers, it organises and participates in a variety of actions and events. Terroir Fribourg also works closely with umbrella associations and with the canton's various political, economic and tourism players. To promote genuine local production, the ‘Fribourg-regio.garantie’ label has been created and is in full development. Controlled by an independent body, it is awarded to products made locally from regional raw materials.
