Farm eggs are fresh hen eggs sold either in bulk or in various pack sizes of 4, 6, or 10 eggs. At La Prairie in Cournillens, the chicks are raised for 18 weeks in the rearing hall before being moved to the laying halls. For the Easter season, La Prairie offers dyed eggs in six different colors. One specific color is available year-round. La Prairie supplies individuals, various local restaurants, bakeries throughout French-speaking Switzerland, and the Seeland region.
