Individual Visit
For organizational reasons, visitors are asked to register in the week prior to the event. The number of visitors is limited to 30, with a maximum of 5 people per registration (including children). Registered visitors must be present at the start of the visit; after that, the doors will be closed.
Guided Visits
Groups can only be received in the evening for observing the night sky.
The visit lasts 90 minutes and costs CHF 200. It includes a tour of the facilities, lectures, explanations of the instruments, and observations using the instruments, weather permitting.
Directions by Car
From Fribourg: Drive towards Marly; at the exit of Marly, turn right towards Chésalles/Épendes and follow the signs to the Observatory.
From Bulle: Drive towards Fribourg; in Le Mouret, head towards Épendes and then follow the signs to the Observatory.
