At the Swiss Museum of Sewing Machines and Unusual Objects, you can rediscover the domestic practices and inventions of the last two centuries in a unique historical setting. With 250 sewing machines and an extensive collection of unusual objects (mechanical vacuum cleaners, irons), the tour illustrates the evolution of household technology and craftsmanship. Each object tells a part of the story of our ancestors through unique and fascinating inventions.
