In the heart of the Ménières gravel pit, young and old alike set off to discover an environment that is still unknown or badly known.
Created by Bersier SA, the educational site offers the opportunity to become aware of the environment. Becoming familiar with sustainable development while discovering what a gravel pit is: one of the objectives of the concept. For a few hours, each visitor dives into this little-known place and gains a more concrete understanding of its biotope, its particularities and what it can offer to the fauna and flora in a way that respects the environment. Nature and man can coexist in harmony; the gravel pit is one of the examples.
Guided tours upon reservation for groups only, schools and adults. Two hours of visit with a biologist. Discovery of the fauna, flora and geology of the gravel pit.
Half-day workshops for children and adults, led by an environmental specialist.
