Chainmail, armour and swords... The rose city transports its visitors to the Middle Ages for an entire weekend.
The now traditional medieval festival of Estavayer-le-Lac takes possession of the Chenaux castle and hosts many activities. Visits to the dungeon, medieval market, cannon firing, fighting demonstrations, crafts, dancing, and many other activities allow you to immerse yourself totally in the spirit of the festival.
