An immersive exhibition retraces, 25 years on, the landscapes devastated by storm Lothar through never-before-seen photographs by Alan Humerose.
Panoramic black-and-white shots bear witness to the devastation of 1999, when 11 million trees were uprooted overnight. Mist and plant chaos form a striking backdrop, where trunks and roots emerge like remnants of a suspended world. This unique photographic series is unveiled for the first time at the Musée d'Estavayer-le-Lac and its frogs.
