As a child, Dominique Rouge loved to paint, express herself and create using all kinds of materials. After training as a nurse, she discovered silk painting, which she practised for some twenty years. She then turned to watercolours, which she embraced with enthusiasm. It was during an art therapy course that she fell under the spell of clay.
