The municipality of Saint-Martin, located in the district of Veveyse, is the result of the merger in 2004 of the villages of Besencens, Fiaugères, and Saint-Martin.
With approximately 1,050 inhabitants spread over 9.79 km², the municipality offers a rural and predominantly agricultural living environment. It has around thirty farms as well as 14 small and medium-sized enterprises.
Thanks to harmonious development, new residential areas have integrated around the villages, while the school and the community centre serve as the main places of life.
The richness of local societies (singing, brass band, culture, sport, seniors, etc.) fosters conviviality and the integration of new residents.
Nature lovers will also appreciate the Tree Trail, which connects three remarkable trees through forests, meadows and waterways, offering stunning landscapes in the heart of Haute-Veveyse.
