A loop to get some fresh air in the peace and quiet of the countryside, on the heights of the village of Le Crêt, with a magnificent view of the Alps and the Pre-Alps.
The trail starts in the village of Le Crêt, between Châtel-st-Denis, Bulle, Oron and Romont, behind the Croix Fédérale restaurant. The loop begins with a short hairpin bend that provides a gentle warm-up, with a backdrop of views of the village, nestling around its large church, and the magnificent peaks of the Pre-Alps in the background.
The route winds past farms to reach Le Basset and start a short descent towards Champey. The route then becomes a little more undulating and skirts the forest in a relaxing calm, conducive to positive thoughts. To get back to the starting point, there's a final climb to test your physical fitness, before returning to a superb panorama ranging from the Savoyard mountains to those of the Bernese Alps.
2 km of the piste is floodlit for evening skiing.
The piste is prepared for skating and classic skiing.
After the effort, the Croix Fédérale restaurant offers everything you need to recharge your batteries in a family atmosphere.
