CHANT, CHANTÉ, ENCHANTÉ – Ensemble vocal Sol & Ciel

The vocal ensemble SOL&CIEL offers a public general rehearsal as a preview of its tour in Graubünden, featuring a colourful buffet of songs, folk tunes, and swing melodies.

SONG, SUNG, ENCHANTED

This multilingual programme features songs from various styles and eras, from the 16th century to the present day. It comprises melodies that are both lively and contemplative for 4 to 8 a cappella voices. The aim of this programme is to introduce listeners to a diverse repertoire, sometimes lesser-known, with rich, clear and gentle harmonies to satisfy all tastes. The programme will be presented orally during the concert.

The ensemble consists of singers from Romandy (Fribourg, Vaud and Valais). It brings together professional singers and musicians, as well as experienced amateurs, all with a solid background in choral and solo performance. SOL&CIEL was formed with the desire to sing in various churches in Graubünden for a week and to discover this magnificent region. The name SOL&CIEL thus also reflects the spirit of this week of singing:
* Hiking, nature, capuns… (Sol)
* Singing, church, blue sky… (Ciel)
