Treat yourself to a winter break in Les Paccots, following the tracks of animals.
Guided by Dominique Jaton, a passionate and certified mountain guide, join us for a snowshoe hike at dusk. She will introduce you to the nocturnal atmosphere of the region and share insights into wildlife during winter.
The walk will be punctuated by pleasant breaks featuring small, playful activities related to wildlife, as well as a shared moment around a cup of hot tea. The evening will conclude at the Les Rosalys restaurant with creamy macaroni.
Programme for Friday, 16 January 2026:
5:40 pm: Meeting point at the parking area of the Les Rosalys restaurant
6:00 pm: Departure of the snowshoe hike (we will not wait for latecomers, so please anticipate traffic jams on the motorway 
)
Along the way: discovery of the winter environment, activities related to the evening’s theme & a break with hot tea
8:45 pm: Creamy macaroni served at the Les Rosalys restaurant
10:30 pm: End of the evening

- Parking at the Les Rosalys restaurant (Please prioritise carpooling to avoid overcrowding the restaurant’s parking area)
- Alternatively: Parking des Rosalys, then approx. 5 minutes on foot

Practical information:
- In the event of an insufficient number of participants, we reserve the right to cancel the activity. Registered participants will be informed by phone or e-mail.
- In case of insufficient snow, the outing will take place on foot on suitable trails.
- The event will take place in all weather conditions, except in the case of cancellation by the organiser for safety reasons.
- Dogs are not permitted.
- Activity in French.
- Snowshoes are not provided, except with prior reservation at an additional cost.
Required equipment:
- Good hiking boots and snowshoes with poles (Rental available at an additional cost: CHF 14.–)
- Backpack
- Headlamp with charged batteries
- Warm clothing in several layers
- Hat
- Gloves or mittens
- Waterproof and windproof jacket
- Personal drinks and snacks
Included in the offer:
- Supervision by a certified and experienced mountain guide
