General terms and conditions of sale – Tourism products

Version of 29 August 2025

Booking Conditions

These general terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between the CLIENT (any individual or company booking an activity with the Regional Tourist Organisation) and the SERVICE PROVIDER (the Association Les Paccots – La Veveyse Tourisme). Any sales contract for services is concluded directly between the CLIENT and the SERVICE PROVIDER at the time of booking.

Contract Formation and Services

The contract between the CLIENT and the SERVICE PROVIDER is concluded upon confirmation of the booking. These general terms and conditions apply to all members of a group who have ordered the service (e.g. co-participants in the activity).

Payment Terms

The CLIENT must pay the total amount of the service before the start of the activity. Payment may be made via the booking platform, at the Tourist Office desk (cash, credit card, gift voucher or TWINT), or by invoice issued by the SERVICE PROVIDER.

For groups of 10 people or more, the full amount must be paid no later than 4 days before the activity.

  • Use of Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers are valid only for services offered by the SERVICE PROVIDER and for the period indicated on the voucher. They are neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash.

In case the SERVICE PROVIDER modifies an activity after the voucher has been issued, the voucher may be used for another activity of equal or lower value, without entitlement to a refund of the difference. If the CLIENT chooses an activity of higher value, the price difference must be paid.

The SERVICE PROVIDER reserves the right to modify programmes and activity prices at any time.

Modification of a Booking

A booking change (schedule, number of participants, etc.) by the CLIENT is possible up to 72 hours before the start of the activity, without additional costs.

Any modification made less than 72 hours before the start of the activity will be charged at 100% of the booked service price.

Cancellation Policy

  • Individuals and groups up to 9 people:
Cancellation is possible up to 72 hours before the start of the activity, free of charge. After this deadline, the total amount remains due and the service cannot be refunded or postponed.

  • Groups of 10 people or more:
From the booking confirmation, in case of cancellation, 50% of the amount will be retained to cover incurred costs. If the cancellation occurs within 4 days before the activity, the full amount remains due.

  • Weather (Outdoor Activities)
The activity takes place in all weather conditions. However, in case of weather conditions preventing the activity (severe storms, lack of snow, etc.), the SERVICE PROVIDER reserves the right to cancel the activity and undertakes to reschedule or refund the service.

  • Illness
In case of cancellation for medical reasons occurring within 72 hours prior to the booking, the activity may be rescheduled (subject to availability) within one month from the initially planned date, upon presentation of a medical certificate. However, if the initial date is at the end of the season and the rescheduling exceeds the activity’s operating period, no postponement can be offered.
  • Late Arrival of Participants

In case of delay due to circumstances beyond their control (traffic jam, train delay, etc.), the CLIENT must immediately inform the SERVICE PROVIDER. The SERVICE PROVIDER will endeavour, where possible, to find a solution allowing the activity to take place.

If no solution can be found, the cancellation conditions of these GTC apply.

Liability

The CLIENT participates in the activity at their own risk and must have personal insurance coverage.

The SERVICE PROVIDER assumes no liability in case of accidents, damages (even due to negligence), or theft.

Data Protection

The SERVICE PROVIDER may collect and process personal data provided by the CLIENT. This data is used solely for the purpose of providing services, offering proposals, and personalised information. Processing is justified by the performance of the contract binding the CLIENT to the SERVICE PROVIDER.

Applicability and Specific Conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all services offered by the SERVICE PROVIDER. However, certain offers may be subject to specific conditions, which will be specified in the offer sent to the CLIENT and shall prevail in case of contradiction with these GTC.

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These general terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Châtel-St-Denis.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these GTC is declared null or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully valid and enforceable.

Entry into Force

These GTC apply as from 29 August 2025. They cancel and replace all previous versions.
