Our production is above all a family adventure. We do not come directly from an agricultural background, even though our great-grandparents were farmers. Our professional paths were built in a very different world—the medical field.
It was by choice, passion, and a desire to reconnect concretely with nature that we turned to beekeeping. A human-scale approach founded on the joy of producing things ourselves, observing the seasons, and working with respect for bees and their environment.
Based in Marsens at an altitude of 890 meters in the heart of the Gruyère region, our beekeeping activity is intentionally family-run and local. We pay special attention to the well-being of our colonies, their environment, and the natural rhythm of the seasons. Our honey is thus a reflection of the territory surrounding our hives and the richness of Fribourg's biodiversity.
We do not seek to produce in large quantities, but to produce with meaning: a local, authentic honey resulting from simple and careful work.
At a time when these small things are taking on ever-greater importance for the future of our environment and our society, we wish, in our own way, to preserve this precious link between bees, nature, and our local terroir, and to share the fruit of this adventure with those who care about the origin and authenticity of the products they consume.
