Estavayer-le-Lac – Lucens – Payerne – Estavayer-le-Lac
This pleasant loop trail begins in the town of Estavayer-le-Lac on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, from where it quickly ascends the hills overlooking the lake before crossing the rolling countryside of la Broye. The trail continues along the banks of the River Broye up to the town of Payerne, before heading back to the charming medieval town of Estavayer-le-Lac.
Highlight :
Catch your breath and stop off at the designated picnic spot between Châtillon and Châbles, from where you can enjoy the stunning panoramic view over Lake Neuchâtel and the Jura mountains.
