Cudrefin
Between lake history and living nature
Recognisable by its water jet in the heart of the harbour, Cudrefin charms visitors with its unique connection to the lake and its rich history. Inhabited since the Stone and Bronze Ages, the village preserves important archaeological remains along its shores. Today, it is also a gateway to nature: the BirdLife Nature Centre in La Sauge offers walks and wildlife watching, from the elusive kingfisher to the nocturnal beaver, allowing visitors to discover the exceptional biodiversity of the shores of Lake Neuchâtel.
