Twin artists Laeticia and Nathalie Chammartin create duo works of characters wandering between light and shadow.
‘Errance en Duo: la Lueur des Ombres’ consists of acrylic paintings and digital prints on canvas. As twin sisters, we love to collaborate and work as a duo, creating work that echoes and enriches each other, allowing us to explore subjects in depth with points of view that respond to and reflect each other.
Our characters, inspired by the dark fantasy genre, evolve in a shared universe. The beauty of nature and the play of light are central to our approach. We create atmospheres where singular lights emerge and contrast with darker, more mysterious settings.
Let yourself be captivated by our world of duality between light and shadow.

Artist biographies :
Nathalie and Laeticia Chammartin, 22-year-old twins, are passionate artists whose creative journey began when they were very young. Self-taught for many years, they have been perfecting their art thanks to Liliane Kiss' classes since 2016, taking part in several projects as part of her courses. This training has enabled them to acquire greater technical mastery while nurturing their creativity.
Curious and versatile, they explore different forms of artistic expression: traditional and digital painting, sculpture, engraving, sewing and, more recently, tattooing. In 2024, they began training in tattooing, a discipline that aligns perfectly with their vision of art: a world where creativity, originality and uniqueness are essential.
Their inspiration comes from many sources: the world of manga and video games, art history - particularly ancient Egypt and the Renaissance - and nature, where they seek to capture the light and atmosphere. Artists such as Claude Monet and Alphonse Mucha also influence their aesthetic approach. Finally, music plays a central role in their creative process, stimulating their imagination and enriching their artistic vision.
Today, Nathalie and Laeticia Chammartin continue to evolve in their practice, constantly exploring new techniques and horizons to offer art that is ever more personal and expressive.
