A pilgrimage in the canton of Fribourg following in the footsteps of Saint Marguerite Bays
Follow the story of Marguerite Bays, from her childhood in the Fribourg countryside to her canonisation in October 2019. The farm in which the saint grew up is in the village of La Pierraz, near Siviriez. It offers free entry to visitors, who can see her bedroom which remains exactly as it was when she lived there.
There are two walks that allow you to follow paths that Marguerite Bays herself used to take, passing in particular by the Church of Saint-Sulpice where she used to pray and her tomb now lies.
