After a long time (1970), the Fribourg region once again hosts the 22nd Swiss Sports Festival of the Swiss Sports Union.
Over 3 days, around 3000 athletes from all over Switzerland compete in various categories and age groups on the decentralized sports fields in Bösingen, Gurmels, Neuenegg, Flamatt, Schmitten and Wünnewil. The gymnastics and sports clubs of the three municipalities of Bösingen, Gurmels and Wünnewil-Flamatt are joining forces to organize the event in order to offer the gymnasts ideal competition conditions.
In addition to the sporting activities, the main venue in Wünnewil will also offer plenty of social opportunities. The festival site promises to be an attractive meeting place for young and old. Here, the numerous athletes, accompanying persons and all festival visitors will have the opportunity to cultivate friendships and spend a few carefree hours in an informal atmosphere.
