«Ice and water are unique subjects for the nature», underline Karl Neuhaus. Every winter the Fribourger of 87 years old created in the environs of Schwarzsee an enchanted univers of ice with magnificent Palaces and sculptures. To build this wonderful world of ice he just needed scrap iron, some wood planks, an installation of watering and a lot of imagination.
Since 2018 Kari is no longer active. His successors are Pascal Stritt, Joel Jutzeler et Christian Fuhrimann, who now build and operate the ice palaces.
