The Gantrisch natural park groups 28 districts including Plaffeien, Oberschrot and Schwarzsee. The State and the cantons finance a variety of projects in order to develop and preserve nature, favour social networks and boost the economy. That is why there is plenty to discover for visitors.
On one hand, the natural beauty of the Schwarzsee, the Sense gorges or the Gurnigel region with its amount of sports possibilities. On the other hand, the cultural emblem like the monastry ruin of Rüeggisberg or the Vrenelimuseum in Guggisberg, companies like Gantrischli mountain cheese dairy or the mill of Wattenwil with its café and shop.
