Water sports for everybody!
Stand Up Paddling (SUP) or standing paddling goes back to Polynesian fishermen, who moved on canoes standing in front of Tahiti on the sea. In Hawaii, the birthplace of surfing, Stand Up Paddling was the sport's king - and only the chosen ones could move standing. Today, one-man bamboo rafts are still used as a means of transportation in Asia.
In the 20th century, Hawaiian surf instructors discovered the Stand Up Paddle as a means of transportation. The elevated position made it easier to observe the students and the use of the paddle meant that distances between the shore and the breakwater reefs were quickly covered.
Today Stand Up Paddling is besides windsurfing and surfing a very popular leisure and trend sport, because it can be done without wind and waves.
Enjoy the unique scenery of Schwarzsee while paddling on the idyllic mountain lake. The boards are available in different sizes, also for children. Fun is guaranteed.
