The short-term permit (1 day or 7 days) can be ordered online through the eGovernment Portal of the State of Friborg.
Fishing permits are issued by all district prefectures

• Prefecture of Singine
• Prefecture of Gruyère
• Prefecture of the Lake
• Prefecture of Glâne
• Prefecture of Broye
• Prefecture of Veveyse
Fishing licenses for Lake Murten are issued only by the Prefecture of the Lake and those for Lake Neuchâtel only by the Prefecture of Broye and are available online.
