Forty years... That's quite something! Since 1985, the youth of Lussy have spanned generations, driven by young people who are committed, enthusiastic and proud to make a difference in their village. That's forty years of memories, friendships, laughter and projects, each more ambitious than the last.
Over the years, we have performed our traditional plays, which have brought the whole village together, opened convivial Christmas bars that have become unmissable events, and organised numerous festive events for the village, such as Christmas for the elderly, 1 August and Saint Nicholas Day for the children to enjoy. One of the most memorable moments was, of course, the Giron in 2022, which united us all, both members and villagers, around an ambitious and unforgettable project.
Every member of every generation left their mark, their stories and their little anecdotes. Today, we are proud to continue to keep this youth alive. But we are more than just a group; the youth of Lussy is a real family. A strong bond between those who were, those who are, and those who will be.
To mark these 40 years as they deserve, we are organising a big party from 21 to 24 August, in the same place where we celebrated our 30th anniversary. This symbolic place, steeped in memories, seemed ideal for reliving all those wonderful moments together.
