The wallpaper Museum reveals an exceptionnally rare ensemble of wallpapers, the oldest from XVIIIth. Twelve rooms were beautifully restaured and constitue an exhibition of high quality, also because of the very remarkable state of conservation of the wallpapers.
The museum is located in the village of Mézières, in the canton of Fribourg. The Château de Mézières is a curiosity nestled in a green setting, in the heart of the Glâne region, five minutes from Romont.
Two temporary exhibitions of wallpapers and art papers mark the year, as well as various events related to the exhibitions. Concerts, craft market and creative workshops for adults and children also animate our premises.
