An iconic figure in French-language humour, Raymond Devos was a master of puns and wordplay who influenced the careers of many comedians.
Among them, a dozen or so re-enact sketches by this legendary entertainer, or recount highlights of his “destiny”! From laughter to tears, we discover the private life of a man born in 1922, who lived through the war, experienced poverty, and found in humour a way to bend reality to his will.
A gala in tribute to Raymond Devos, orchestrated by Bruno Coppens, with half a dozen artists. Music, anecdotes, sketches and mime are on the menu, making you want to know more about this colossus of surreal humour, long after the final curtain has fallen!
