A contemplative exhibition combining images and words, capturing the beauty of mountain peaks through the wide angle of alpine photography and the meticulous detail of Japanese poetry.
How can you describe the landscape at altitudes where everything looks spectacular? When photographer JED heads for the mountains, he takes the time to capture the magic of the place, sometimes in challenging conditions, and brings back to the plains a few memories of these suspended moments. The proof is in a selection of black-and-white photographs, geometric, luminous and breathtaking portraits of alpine landscapes. All accompanied by haikus that question the appeal of the mountains and our relationship with a nature that is on borrowed time.
