A musical theatre show for children aged 5 and over.
A musical journey, for ages 5 and up
An accordion is used to make music.
Every child knows that.
But an accordion that travels
From one person to another
And wears a big hat, too
Has more than one trick up its sleeve!
Yesterday it was over there, today it’s here,
Where will it be tomorrow? Perhaps at your house!
Performed by: Simone Oberrauch
Directed by: Ursula Bleisch
External eye, music: Massimo Bertinelli
Biography
SIMONE OBERRAUCH Born in South Tyrol, she trained at the Berlin School of Performing Arts. She was then engaged by the Teatro Potlach in Fara Sabina/Rieti, before embarking on a long journey of discovery through South America. On her return to Europe, she performed and lived with the Bleisch Puppet Theatre in 2001/02 and, in collaboration with Ursula Bleisch, created her first children’s play, ‘Unanana’, inspired by an African folktale. Further productions for young audiences followed, with the interplay of music, song and movement remaining a key feature of her work. In 2023, she founded the ATZAR Company. She also teaches theatre and circus arts, directs school theatre projects, performs in various musical ensembles, takes part in dance-theatre productions, was a member of the additional choir at the Konzert Theater Bern, and can occasionally be found on the football pitch with her two sons.
