Musée du papier peint – Evasions sonores

What if Sound became your guide? From 25 October 2025 to 7 June 2026

With ‘Évasions sonores’ (Sound Escapes), the Wallpaper Museum offers a unique audio tour through the Château de Mézières, which is by turns poetic, informative, surprising, gentle and provocative. A dozen creations interact with the wallpapers: songs composed by Aliose and Marc Aymon, soundscapes and ambient music, audio fiction, vox pops and interviews transform your visit into a sensitive and unique experience.

Exhibition accessible to the visually impaired

Public opening: Saturday 25 October at 5pm
At 4pm: Exclusive visit for Friends of the Castle.
We look forward to welcoming Marc Aymon!

8 November from 5pm to 11pm - Museum Night on the theme of ‘Nature’

On the programme: Visit ‘Evasions sonores’ and play with the sounds of nature. Guess who is singing, who is crunching! Take part in our nature blind test.
Blind test times: 6pm, 7.30pm and 9pm.
Catering: Light refreshments will be available from the garden throughout the evening.
