The Hennens chapel was built thanks to donations from a certain Jacques Maillard d'Hennens and consecrated in 1663. The roof was repaired in 1925 and the interior was restored in 1947 by Mr Calybite Maillard.
The new ceiling features a semi-circular vault. The bell tower was refurbished in 1994 in keeping with its original shape.
4 new stained glass windows, designed and created by local artist Jean-Pierre Demierre, were inaugurated on 19 June 2022. Their theme is the ROAD, as the chapel is located on the pilgrims' route to Compostela. Saint Bernard, the chapel's patron saint, and his dog, the Emmaus pilgrims and Jesus on his way are the symbols of the 3 other stained glass windows.
