At around 1,600 metres above sea level, the Alpine hut Salzmatt welcomes its visitors. It is an ideal place for guests to relive the Kaiseregg summit experience or to find a warm coffee and breakfast after an early hike to watch the sunrise.
Hiking trails lead from the Salzmatt Alp to the Hohmattli (1,794 m) or to the Kaiseregg Pass, or to the summit of the Kaiseregg (2,185 m). The ideal location for an alpine hut. For example, a delicious fondue is served to order. Pork sausages, warm ham and plates are other specialties from the region, which are served on site.
