At Lac-Noir, overlooking the magnificent Brecca valley, rises the rocky ridge of Les Recardets. The hike proposed here, starting from Lac-Noir, runs along the north side of the Recardets to the Pas de Chamois at the foot of the Patraflon, crosses the rocky ridge and descends via the Brecca to Lac-Noir. The route is not particularly difficult, but requires sure-footedness.
