In Schwarzsee, the jagged ridges of the Les Recardets moutain range cast their distinctive shadow over the ancient valley of La Brecca.
Due to the closure of the access road to Seeweid, the ‘Two Valleys Hike’ circular hike will not be accessible from 13 to 17 October 2025, but the hike to and including Patraflon will be possible.
At Lac-Noir, overlooking the magnificent Brecca valley, rises the rocky ridge of Les Recardets. The hike proposed here, starting from Lac-Noir, runs along the north side of the Recardets to the Pas de Chamois at the foot of the Patraflon, crosses the rocky ridge and descends via the Brecca to Lac-Noir. The route is not particularly difficult, but requires sure-footedness.
