If the ice is thick enough, the lake can be accessed at your own risk. It is possible to walk on the ice, play hockey, skate, play curling, or simply enjoy the winter atmosphere. Please refer to the current information in the winter

Ice skates can be hired from the Schwarzsee ski hire centre.
Walking on the frozen lake is at your own risk!
Ice Skating is only possible with good weather conditions (sufficient snow and ice).
